
ERA4Health Partnership (E4H) organised its physical Management Board (MB) meeting in Paris last 14th September, hosted by the French National Agency (ANR). More than 40 representatives from the different Institutions of the ERA4Health consortia, coordinated by Cristina Nieto, on behalf of the Institute of Health Carlos III, from Spain, met together for presenting the progress of E4H project, which began on 1st November 2022.
The European Commission (DG-RTD) representative, Grzegorz Owsianik, the Project Officer from HaDEA, Monica Ensini, and the representative of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, Bertrand Schwartz, attended as well the event.
During the meeting the multiple achievements of the Partnership were presented. ERA4Health has already successfully launched two co-funded Joint Transnational Calls (CARDINNOV and HealthEquity) and has performed advanced progress in establishing a framework to support multinational Investigator Initiated Clinical Studies.
The E4H Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda is published on the website and the Partnership Governance structures has been created, including the Strategic Advisory Board and the Ethics & RRI Advisory Board. Additionally, a Synergies Working Group has been established including the different initiatives related to E4H in health and non-health research fields, and research infrastructures. In this MB meeting the Annual Work Plan for the 2nd year was approved by the E4H consortia.
