Data controller

Personal data collected for newsletter purposes only are: e-mail address.

Details and purposes of Personal Data processing

1. Mailing list | newsletter: By filling out the contact form with personal Data, the Users consent to the use indicated in the header of the form.

2. Communication and dissemination of events/news related to the ERA4Health project.

By subscribing to the newsletter, the above mentioned user's personal data are collected through a own form and transferred to a database containing the list of contacts to which the periodic newsletter will be sent, as well as information regarding planned events or updates related to ERA4Health.

The explicit and voluntary contact via emails to the addresses indicated on this form involves, by its very nature, the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.

Method of treatment

Personal data are processed by the Data Controllers using IT tools and paper forms, acquired and stored by Regione Toscana and Fondazione Toscana Life Sciences, as well as external party hosting the website platform. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access, in compliance with the EU Regulation 679/2016.

The data can be viewed by the European Commission exclusively for the purposes of administrative checks related to the project and in a confidentiality regime.

The treatment will last no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data were collected. For the document conservation obligations related to the reporting of the project mentioned above, they will be kept for a period of five years from the end of the project.

Rights of the interested party

At any time, the interested party can exercise the rights on the data provided (articles 15, 16, 17 18, 20, 21 of EU Regulation 2016/679), writing to info@transcan.eu. In particular, each interested party has the following rights:

  • right of access, for example the ability to access all personal user information;
  • right of rectification, for example the possibility of obtaining the updating of inaccurate personal data without justified delay;
  • right to be forgotten, consisting in the right to cancel personal data;
  • right to restriction of processing, when the subject obtain from the controller restriction of data processing where one of the case described by art. 18 of Regulation 679/2016 applies;
  • right to data portability, allows individuals to obtain and reuse their personal data for their own purposes across different services;
  • right of withdrawal of consent at any time;
  • right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the event of a violation of data processing (Article 77 of Regulation 679/2016), except for cases provided in Chapter III, Article 2- Legislative Decree 101/2018);
  • right to an effective judicial remedy against a supervisory authority in cases described by Article 78 of Regulation 679/2016

Intellectual property

The contents of the newsletters CANNOT, in whole or in part, be copied, reproduced, transferred, uploaded, published or distributed in any way without the prior written consent of ERA4Health partners, with no prejudice to the possibility of storing them on your computer or to print extracts from the pages of this site solely for personal use.

Any form of link to the newsletter if inserted by third parties must not damage the image and the activities of the individual partners.

Any non-compliance with these provisions, unless explicitly authorized in writing, will be prosecuted in the relevant civil and criminal courts.

Limitations of liability

Partners cannot be held responsible in any way for damages of any kind caused directly or indirectly by access to the newsletter, the inability or impossibility of accessing it, the reliance on the information contained therein

The partners do not assume any responsibility for services offered by third parties with whom the newsletter has activated a link, and for any other content, information or anything else contrary to the Italian law and European Regulation.

Any links to external sites are provided as a simple service to subscribers, with the exclusion of any responsibility for the correctness and completeness of the set of links indicated.

Furthermore, the indication of links does not imply any kind of approval or sharing of responsibility in relation to the completeness and correctness of the information contained in the sites indicated.
