Our challenges
ERA4Health Partnership: Fostering a European Research Area for Health Research.
This Partnership brings the opportunity to increase European transnational collaborative research funding by creating a funding body for joint programming in priority areas addressing European public health needs.
ERA4Health focuses on tackling diseases and reducing disease burden by addressing the following challenges:
- The increasing demand for a better quality of life and a better patient care.
- The need to transform public health care systems into more effective, efficient, equitable, accessible, and resilient ones.
- The need to strengthen disease prevention and health promotion.
The EU-funded ERA4Health Partnership brings together 33 partners and 27 funding organisations from 22 countries, with the common goal of fostering high-impact translational research for addressing public health needs.
TRAINING
ERA4Health Webinars
This section features a series of webinars organized by our partnership, covering both our core thematic areas and a variety of broader topics. These webinars are designed to enhance capacity building, provide new knowledge and valuable insights, explore innovative solutions, and keep participants updated on developments in their respective fields.
IICS Recommended Training
This section gives an overview of free training, developed by different institutions, relevant for investigators/researchers interested in setting up investigator-initiated clinical studies in Europe. Only free training in English has been selected for this section. Good Clinical Practice training in languages other than English is listed, as some countries have developed GCP training in their own language pointing out some local specificities.

This section provides access to a variety of resources aimed at strengthening skills and capacities in health research.
Early Career Network
The ERA4Health Early Career Network aims to foster the interaction, capacity and growth of Early Career Researchers (ECR) involved in ERA4Health-funded projects.
